Subfloor Preparation

Your new floor is only as good as the subfloor it is laid on and here at Hamilton Carpets and Flooring we have many years of experience in ensuring your subfloor, be it timber or concrete, is correctly prepared to ensure a long lasting floor finish. We will test for damp in older properties that are unlikely to have a dpm and in newer ones where subfloors are unlikely to have had sufficient drying time before a final floor finish is required and will specify the correct treatment to keep delays at a minimum.
