Hamilton Flooring Explores New Options with Karndean Art Select

Karndean Art Select is the top-quality LVT range full of character which highlights the natural beauty of wood and stone. This stunning collection features planks and tiles with intricate and realistic textures and patterns that make these floors almost indistinguishable from their natural counterparts. However, the Art Select collection has characteristics not held by natural wood and stone which make it practical as well as beautiful!
With 21 new brilliant styles available from Karndean's Art Select collection, we couldn't help but take a closer look at a selection of these brilliant LVT floors.
Karndean Art Select - Cotton Oak
Inspired by a sample of European oak with interesting colour variation, knots and sap markings, Cotton Oak is a light neutral design with a handscraped effect and subtle sideways burring.
A white liming process has resulted in a gentle chalky appearance with a white to grey transition across the planks. Overall the effect is a light and bright floor with warm tones and tranquil coastal vibes.
Pearl Onyx
Pearl Onyx design is inspired by the semi-precious onyx gemstone. In nature, white onyx free of dirt and other imperfections is difficult to procure – thus making it highly valued. This design enhances the opulent hues of the original stone.
Doric Marble
Inspired by an opulent Greek marble, Thassos, Doric Marble is classic white with minimal variation and veining, bringing a harmonious feel to your space.
Thassos, which has been used for centuries in construction and sculpture, is difficult to extract and considered extremely valuable.
Calacatta d'Oro
Karndean traveled to Italy to source the inspiration for the regal Calacatta D’Oro design. That inspiration is Calacatta Borghini, a precious marble from one of the country’s oldest mountain quarries. In limited supply, Calacatta Borghini is a highly sought marble that’s prohibitively expensive for most.
This design captures the subtle grey and gold veining unique to the Calacatta Borghini quarry, bringing sophistication and elegance to your home.
Rose Onyx
Rose Onyx is a bold, boundary-pushing addition to the Art Select collection. It's inspired by the semi-precious onyx gemstone, a material interior designers appreciate for its elegance in creating luxurious spaces.
The Karndean design team has masterfully captured the essence of onyx, offering a stylish new colourway that commands attention and makes a big impression.
Golden Artisan Oak
A characterful limed and washed oak, Golden Artisan Oak has a gentle and calming aesthetic with traditional warm mid-toned oak hues.
Golden Artisan Oak expresses strong crown formations punctuated with burnished knots. The liming highlights the original timber's open flowery grain and tight linear markings while a registered emboss gives further authenticity and creates a subtle contemporary feel.
Golden Artisan Oak is also available in a 56" x 9" plank.
Bellota Oak
Inspired by a sample of Holm Oak from the Basque region of Spain, acquired following routine woodland maintenance, the Karndean designers have enhanced the beautiful natural grain with a unique lightly scraped and brushed effect.
Bellota Oak features a blend of neutral mid-grey and beige tones with characterful dark knots which have been softly muted to enhance the beauty of the wood.
Bellota Oak is also available in a 28" x 4.5" plank.
